And I'm glad I did go with the maxi skirt outfit...The weather was so beautiful and breezy, and the outfit was a perfect fit for that.&nbsp; The restaurant was really nice, and we ate lots of great food.&nbsp; I'd say that about 60% of the patrons were dressed up somewhat...like dressy/put together but not formal (we were in this category), about 20% were more formal, and 20% were embarrassingly underdressed (very casual t-shirts, baseball hats kept on, tank tops, very casual jeans/shorts).&nbsp; The underdressed people really stuck out like a sore thumb.&nbsp; I dunno, if you're going to splurge on an expensive dinner, wouldn't you want to dress up a bit (or at least feel obligated to)?&nbsp; </p> <p>After dinner we walked to Central Park, and took a gondola ride on the lake (sounds so cheesy and touristy, but it was actually really really nice).&nbsp; The weather was beautiful and the "supermoon" was out.&nbsp; Such a gorgeous night.&nbsp; </p> <p>So thanks everyone for the replies and opinions, the outfit and the day were winners for sure! </p> https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/which-shoes-with-this-outfit-for-dinner-tonight#post-1301445 Sat, 12 Jul 2014 19:13:20 +0000 ameelizabeth 1301445@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>Rachylou, I think most of NY, including Brooklyn, has that "hipster-touched aesthetic," lol.
