I don't know how they would fare in a complete downpour, but the last pair I had (by the same maker) got through such storms in Ontario looking only a little the worse for it. I had sprayed them with waterproofing.&nbsp;</p> <p>My other option would be a flatform oxford that I have sprayed with waterproofing.&nbsp;</p> <p>I might also wear a loafer but those are very hard for me to fit.&nbsp;</p> <p>Where I live, (near Angie, actually) it rarely rains at all in summer. However, it rains a LOT in late autumn, all winter, and early spring.
