I can wear some warmer tones, I'm not the typical summer of the four season palette. But not too warm either. I feel I look best in a mix of neutral, warm and cool, when the colors are SOFT. Not too light, not too bright. Black doesn't work as a solid color near my face, but I feel it's fine otherwise. Charcoal grey works near my face. I personally think it's good to know roughly what kind of colors work (for me it's soft, taking the middle ground), but I'm not hung up about it anymore. They make me think your friend must be an Autumn of some kind (the muted metals also point in this direction), since they are colours that only an Autumn can really pull off. I think the taupe you've attached is Soft Autumn, but possibly Summer as well.&nbsp;</p> <p>I originally saw the first three colours as Soft Summer, but perhaps 1 and 3 could pass for Soft Autumn. I did a quick google for Soft Autumn palettes and similar shades do pop up.&nbsp;</p> <p>Are you sure these are the best colours for this person? It may be that some of these are actually not her best.
