Slim pants tucked into boots! No wet hems there I think if you're after this length the hem opening needs to be a bit smaller so it's more like a skinny than a straight leg cut.

Thanks, CocoLion! I'll think about different wash.

Angie, that what's I'm looking for - I'm tired from wet jeans already, and the fall just started. So I was thinking about 70's length.

Irene, they still look a little short to me. Have you tried something longer and more tapered too? That way you can still show off your shoes.

I am preferring #2. The length looks just right, not too short, but long enough to show shoes.

ETA: can you get #2 in a darker wash? The light/medium wash is great for casual, but the darker wash is more versatile as you can take it a bit dressier or casual.

I'm looking for the new pair of jeans. My new perfect pair should be slim and a little bit on a short side (I want to show my shoes this fall).
Now I have two finalists, both from Levi's, 525 and 512.
Both are approximately the same on my rear, a little bit different on waist, but the most important thing for me is lenght.
Which one is keeper?
