I'm very glad that the Nicole pair is the clear winner style-wise. I've been trying both pairs out around the house this weekend, and there just isn't any comparison as far as comfort. The Nicoles are quite comfortable on my feet despite the slightly higher heel, but the sole of the Steve Madden pair is so hard that my feet aren't adjusting. If you have to talk yourself into keeping the lighter ones then maybe it's better to set them free! I think I'm leaning towards the Nicole pair but also wonder if the Steve Madden pair might be worth keeping too.
