I agree with everyone above. Looks are super important but both are lovely. Function wins everytime though especially for boots I think, as long as appearance need is also met. Yup, try them both and see which you love but keep in mind which you will get most use from eventually

I'm with Thistle. Have you had good luck with suede outdoors in winter weather? I never have - and can wear them outdoors for a grand total of about 6-8 weeks a year, tops.

Try them and see, but I find suede too fussy for my climate. There is a teeny tiny window where I can wear them.

I agree with Laura, but if you can try both that would be great. Good luck!!

Both are fab. I would definitely go with practicality in mind first though. The snow boots, if you love the look of them, look sleek enough to perhaps double duty? I say try both and see how they seem.

I agree with Laura: the practical start is the snow duty boot.
I like a snipped toe boot; it's one of the classic boot toes. I'm an equal opportunity boot toe employer! I currently have almond, chisel, snipped, pointed and round in constant rotation.

At least from the picture the snow boots don't look that bulky, so I'd lean toward them if you need them - they can cross over into regular wear whereas the others can't survive constant snow. Then save up your money and get the other ones next year.

Angie, thanks for the advice! I'm glad that they both look classic. My other Sestos have the same square toe and I always feel like I'm the only one wearing such a toe line.
And yes! I had forgotten about returns! Of course--try them on! there's just one danger... I will like them both and break the bank!

Both styles look quite classic to me so no difference with respect to their trend factor. I am guessing that you will probably get more use out of the snow boot.

I'd order them both - try them on with outfits - and assess which you like best with your wardrobe.

OK, so this might seem like a strange dilemma because their styles and functionality are so different. One is a weatherproof snow boot, the other a lightweight suede that is neither as warm nor as impermeable as the first. But my budget only allows me to buy one.

I'm trying to decide and could use your feedback re: which one you think will be more versatile and also more up-to-date with relation to trends?

My own pros and cons:

1. The suede Dalyn has a 60s vibe that I like; I also love how streamlined it looks (esp. since I have very thin calves). I have a pair of similar Sesto Meucci booties and they are ridiculously comfortable too. However, do you find the square toe absolutely outdated?

2. The Sheree is a dressier snow boot. I live in a cold climate and right now only have a much sportier-looking pair of snow boots (gray). It would be nice to dress for the snow and feel more put-together at the same time. However, are they too chunky to go with skirts and dresses?

(PS. I also own a pair of Bare Traps and while they're good, they're not as top notch as other dressy snow boots--hence the attractive price, but it wouldn't be a quality investment)
