And then I just lost my entire reply. I ended up wearing the silver which was good because the wind picked up. And DH chose it. Plus, my pastor wore their shiny silver puffer -- which didn't save them from being run over earlier this month. Folks, remember that not all sidewalk and crosswalk users are at typical adult height.</p> <p>I had a great time but had such a hard time hearing over all those hard surfaces. Guess the hipster life is not for me. I longed for one of those old timey Italian joints, the kind that remind me of the type of place an elderly aunt and uncle would think is the cat's pyjamas: Thick carpeting, upholstered chairs and banquettes, white tablecloths, plus of course cannoli and the waiter with the yard long peppermill who asks if you want extra pepper on your Caesar salad. And, and the ladies with the collars of the minks chasing after one another. Those places have acoustics that work for me. Maybe that's why I associate them with old people? But wait! I'm 66. I like my silver pleather moto, especially with the eyelets on my boots, but it is tight in the upper arms particularly since I am wearing Heattech underneath my ribbed sweater. But it will cut out the wind.</p> <p>The red poly moto is stretchy so comfy as an indoor jacket. I am still breaking in my boots, so if I end up changing them out for my old moto boots and the wind doesn’t pick up, I will probably wear the red moto.</p> <p>Btw, my sweater is a slightly tweedy forest green and the jeans are faded black so not really a column of black. For me, I’ve found these false blacks to be quite versatile because then I don’t face the agony of pieces not quite matching. </p>
