Since you wear a lot of black, you need some way to keep things interesting and dynamic, and the ruching will do that.</p> <p>But then I read that you wanted the skirt to be very versatile, from office to casual. For that I would have to go with #1.</p> <p>I also saw how you talked about the length of skirt 2 coming just below your knee, or just below the center of the knee. I have found that on me (5'2"), skirts that hit at that point are not very flattering. I need them to be either at the top of the knee or else a decent midi length (=midcalf). I have checked the measurements and the skirt will come down past my knee by about 2 to 3 cm's.
