It looks like it hits the model at or just below the knee, which would be shorter than my preference for a long trench. UPS delivered the Kate Spade in size XS today. The collar seems narrower, and it may be my imagination, but I think the fit looks more like that on the Kate Spade model....although the sleeves may be a touch short. It looks wrinkled, and came compressed into a tiny space in a small bag. I suspect it would be a great travel trench. I am worried that the Kate Spade is too large and I spoke with someone in the N.Y. store this evening who advised that I try the XS for comparison. They honored the original discount I had for the size S, so I ordered it to see if there is any difference. I agree with you that the Tibi fits me best. The lavender Kate Spade and turquoise Tibi trenches have arrived and I tried them in comparison with the sky blue Lela Rose which most people felt was too large. I tried to locate an XS in the Lela Rose, but I had no luck. </p> <p>The Kate Spade is a bit large in torso in the size small, but the sleeves are the perfect length. I am worried the sleeves on an XS will be too short.</p> <p>I ordered the Tibi in both size S, and XS. The size charts indicate the S should be fit best but I prefer the fit of the XS. I didn't photograph the S because it was so ridiculously large. </p> <p>All pics were taken with todays outfit which included a Veronica Beard blazer so I could tell how well they would layer over my clothing.</p> <p>Which if any should I keep? </p>
