And high five on your pet peeve...I totally agree. The difference between regular and petite is incredibly inconsistent across brands and it makes for a LOT of extra try-on work to find what fits. I love both of these pieces so much I may order them myself. I also wonder if you would be willing to try opening your belt one notch and/or letting the waistband of the pants slip down just a tad. The pants seem to be just a tiny bit too high on your waist which is causing them to sneak up a bit on your behind. (Sorry for being so direct.) They might be more comfortable with this adjustment, and I think they will look and move a bit better too. Of course, I could be totally wrong about this. Photos are difficult. Demonstrating my trust in YFL to post an unflattering shot of my backside fully tucked! I would not do this IRL. However, I am trying YFL suggestion to tuck with belt matching the top and I think I can work with this.</p> <p>The reg size is much looser, fits about a full size bigger. The next size down is not available. I could easily hem it a bit shorter.</p> <p>I have personal poison eye for the bunching at the knees, but have found I don't notice it on others so it may be a self perception problem.</p> <p>I'm late to the boyfriend game so don't really know what is current or looks best.</p> <p>(Pet peeve -why can't petite and misses be the same circumfrence dimensions, so all you are changing is rise and length?)</p> <p>Comments please? Which one is best, and shoe suggestions? I have wide forefoot, narrow heel and fussy feet. </p>
