Kind of like how Monkeyface keeps her hair intact but puts the monkey face over her face. Something about being able to see the shape and color of the hair helps put outfits in more context. Angie used to crop just above the chin, and it worked wonderfully, proportion-wise. We can still see hair, skin coloring...better than blurry or iPad head, imo. That's the least distracting. But if that's not an option, I pick blurry - since your outfit is less obscured and your posture slightly more natural. I actually find it hard to hold my iPad to the side (it hurts my wrist, and I'm worried I'll drop it on the tile).
