There is a great glasses shop near my work with a huge selection and people who are really helpful, so I will check it out this week and post an update. I agree, it's silly to spend $$ on frames that don't look amazing! Thank you all again!

Are you against a wire frame? I think a wire frame might suit your features better.

Make sure the frame doesn't exceed the width of your face; also you can go with a little bit of a deeper frame (wider up and down, rather than side to side).

I say to keep looking too - and please don't take that as a criticism, it's just that it would be a shame to spend money on an expensive pair of glasses that fails to do justice to your beautiful features because the oversized shape steals the show. Glasses shopping can be super tricky and it usually takes me several trips to several different shops before I focus on a pair of frames that really grabs me.
For the record, I have the exact opposite problem - my face is quite wide across the temples, so many frames are too narrow.

Lisalou I'm late to weigh in on this but while I do like No 2 on you I say keep looking. I recently had to choose new frames and I think I spent at least four hours (in two 2 hr blocks) trying on different frames. During this process I quickly worked out what shape worked best and from there I then worked on which color(s) were best. I chose two new frames and I love them...it was well worth the time I put in...next time when I want to update my frames I don't think it will take quite as long as I think I now have an understanding of what suits me. Good luck! You will find that perfect pair

I also vote keep looking. An oversized specs look can work, but all shapes here overwhelm your dainty features. They are oversized in all directions - go for an oversized width instead of depth.

Thanks everyone! I guess I am half-hearted about them all. I loved the first ones at first, but went back to the store and wasn't as in love the second time around. The other two were just spontaneous try-ons at the store. I think I will keep looking...glasses shopping is so hard!!

I'm not against trendy-ish (I don't want to do the full on horn-rimmed 50s/80s glasses). That's why I liked the first ones--they're a little trendier than what I have now, but not so out there that they look like a costume. And if it at all possible, I want frames that are slightly sexy, because I always feel not-so-cute in my glasses! Does that even exist? (Obviously I haven't found a pair of glasses that are The Ones in many years.)

Oh, PS, I think they all look so wide for my face b/c of the angle I'm taking the photo at (I turned my head so I could remember what the temple/arm of the frames look like). I'm super sensitive to too-wide frames, as I have a small head!

If you have to chose between these, then 2 it is.

But if you are half-hearted about any, then I'd say keep on searching. It does take time, but the end result is worth it. This is 7 months of specs-hunting talking.

Of the three, I like #2 best, but all of the glasses seem to be varying degrees of too wide for your face (I'm looking at how the frames extend past your temple). Is there an eye gallery near you that has brands like Bevel, Orgreen, Ann et Valentin glasses? I have a narrow face and these brands fit me very well.

I think #2 and #3 are very similar. I find the darker frame in 2 to be a bit more dramatic and 3 blends in a bit more. I think both work quite well but a slightly narrower frame may be better. I shop based on frame width because I have a narrow face.

The first pair is very trendy--that whole oversized, '80s, Clark Kent thing (examples below). Somehow I think they are sitting too low on your nose or something...Your eyes are right at the top of the lenses.

I think pair #2 are pretty cool on you, but not sure if they are The Ones. Again, I would want my eyes a bit more centered inside the lenses field (if that makes any sense!) but the shape is nice on you. How do you feel in each of these? Are you looking for something trendier or more classic? Edgy or more conventionally flattering?

I like the second ones, but think you can probably do better than these...depending on your vision needs, of course. In my case, I can't choose from all the styles I might like due to my prescription and nose shape. So I know that it can be a very difficult process making a choice and sometimes you do need to compromise a bit.
