I believe I may have wider shoulders than most pear shapes, so I do not mind...and actually want to show off my shoulders! I am a little worried about strapless though since I am around a 32B...30C size and would be worried that it would fall down or I do not have enough "interest" at the top. So, maybe strapless isn't the way to go. Also, I want something with shorter sleeves, because I plan on wearing this in the summer. I have tried on a solid strapless dress before and really liked the silhoette. I thought the bare shoulder balanced out my hips nicely. I didn't purchase it because I was cautioned that strapless can be difficult to wear. Fits nicely on top, giving some interest there, and flows away where we're biggest. I tend to stay away from strapless anything- I don't have the bust or shoulders for it, but if it works for you, that might also be an option. I think it looks more casual, though.
