But the gray looks more different, in a good way--the cut and detail stand out more, and of course it "shines" out a bit more.<br /><br />It looks like a sheer jacket, so wouldn't it be targeted for milder seasons, air-conditioning and so forth, after all ? That can sometimes be a real wardrobe-hole, to have something fab and stylish and also very light, whereas there are a lot more options in fall &amp; winter jackets--leather, wools, lined jackets.<br /><br />Would it help if you really focus on trying it with some additional outfits &amp; colors and see if the gray fits in more than you first thought? Or even creates fabness in outfits you didn't expect? &nbsp;I have a pale gray sheer linen knit sweater (from J. Seriously, this line is everything I want my style to be: minimal, neutral, slouchy, drapey, somewhat androgynous.<br /><br />I fell hard for&nbsp;this jacket online:&nbsp;I like the idea of a bomber jacket, but just hadn't seen one that really appealed to me until this one. The neutral colors, slouchy fit, and luxurious fabric were just what I was looking for.<br /><br />It's available in a taupey mushroom gray, and a pale pearl gray, and I couldn't decide,&nbsp;so I ordered both colors, not even knowing if the jacket would work for me or not.&nbsp;<br /><br />Well, I love the jacket, and will&nbsp;be keeping one of them, but which one? The pale gray is really pretty, and is&nbsp;better for summer, and it is a semi-sheer lightweight jacket, so it makes sense in a summery color, but I also love the darker taupe/gray color, and it goes with so many of my other clothes.<br />I think either of these will go with everything from jeans to dresses, and should be a versatile addition to my wardrobe.<br /><br />Any thoughts about which one I should keep, or styling ideas? Thanks in advance for your help!<br /><br />1-4: Pale gray jacket- it was kind of hard to photograph because it comes out looking white, but really it is a light gray.<br />Also debuting the Kamalikulture black dress, which I LOVE, and &nbsp;Eileen Fisher caged wedge sandals.<br /><br />5-6 Taupe/gray version of the same jacket, with Eileen Fisher slouchy silk pants, Helmut Lang tank.<br /><br /><br /><br />
