Some great finds work for both. Tops are considerations but not as tricky as the leg issues. That's a good point, with not going too light with bottoms. I do think the skirt might be the perfect wardrobe basic, if it works out. I agree with you on the tweed feel of the grey one, I love that too. To me the grey looks more rugged while the navy skirt seems dressier. I can see the grey with boots and one of my cropped wool pullovers, I love the idea of that. But the navy might be easier to wear to a more fancy occasion as well as in everyday life (like with a lace top or something similar dressy). As for hose and boots, I think the grey might win out in that aspect. Maybe I should just get both (assuming they look good). </p> <p>Thanks Dianthus!</p> <p>Thanks Joy! The pullovers or toppers that work with a skirt like this that I have at the moment work equally well with both colors. My fall coat is dark grey and not navy, but I need a new coat anyway. Maybe you could take a look at your tops and toppers that you want to wear with the skirt to see what works. Would your navy coat blend or clash with the navy of the skirt?
