It's pricey, but I don't wear makeup a lot, so I can afford to splurge.</p> <p>As far as La Roche Posay goes, I have sometimes used their Eau thermale, in the spray bottle. I think that is somewhat of a classic. Wouldn't consider it classic but yes I have tried their toleriane face cream after noticing my face got evermore sensitive. My mother in law is a apothecary who carries the range and adviced it. Not only it is great for cooking but it's a fab toner, I have been using it for years. </p> <p>I don't use any commercial make-up, I only use green products. The skin is the biggest organ and, in my opinion, chemical products can be absorbed by the skin and cause some health damages. There are some valid brands for tinted cream, foundation but a good mascara is the most difficult to find! I can recommend Madara, Purebio and Alva for tinted creams. Ilia, Madara and Kosas offers some great alternatives to foundation, Dr Hauschka does beautiful eyeshadows. I don't wear perfume anymore because of chemical sensitivities, but Diorissimo was my go-to scent for almost 30 years, before changes in the formula rendered it a shadow of its former self. I have hung on to the last bottle of Diorissimo that still smells like what I remember from the first time I bought it in the mid-80s.
