I would get something different so you have another option when needed, plus it is often difficult to manage the fit of jeans over a higher shaft. The Chelsea boots would work for most weather except deeper snow. Even around here, where there is a lot of snow, I can get by with a shorter boot unless we have a storm. I find the higher shaft harder to wear with jeans as sometimes the fabric can get caught up in a looser shaft boot. I used Minnesota as an example because I look at their weather all the time since my son lives there. It’s far colder there than where I live in Northern Nevada. But it also depends on how much you’re outdoors. If you walk from your car to your office, then they might be okay.
