I think the boots themselves are most beautiful in #1 (darker brown) because of the interesting low contrast, and I agree with Carla that they'd fit in well with your current toppers. The reason to choose #3 (second favorite) would be if you want to match your camels! I love the cognac and dark grey ones, but they seem quite similar to my other two boots. Per reviews, I sized up a half size. They are comfy right out of the box, despite the wedge heel. The toe box is narrow, compared to other boots I’ve tried, but not enough to be a deal breaker. The color is more of a milk chocolate; not a warm cognac like the product photo. They are not insulated, so thick socks are a must if wearing for cold weather (for me anyway). </p> <p>Verdict: I don’t love the chocolatey color for me (which is similar to a non-winter boot I already have). That, plus the thin leather, makes these a return. </p>
