I ordered a pair of New Look sandals in an earlier order from them (they went back, the style didn't quite work for me) and they were a bit less well made, but then they were cheaper too. Asos's house brand seems to be pretty well made for the price in general, akin to Target in my experience. I ordered my usual size but it's just a little small in both. The slingbacks are the closer to working but neither would be particularly comfortable over time. I'd need a half size up but of course they don't offer that. I've had good experiences with ASOS returns. I like both pair but for some reason I have had trouble finding ankle strap shoes that work with my foot. I am a size 9 but&nbsp;have a narrower heel and the back part ends up looking sloppy and bunchy or else is uncomfortably stiff. Weird and sad because I really would like to join in this trend. It looks more current, but just as dressy. If these are comfy like the okala's then I think you'll get a lot of use out of them. The left ones are a forever shoe, to my eye, while the right ones are on trend and fab in a different way.</p> <p>Your body type and what you plan to wear them with&nbsp;might also play parts in your decision. Which one do you think is better? The ankle-strap is very reminiscent of the Sole Society and Okalas that everyone's buying, but the slingback is nice as well and maybe not as trend-driven?</p>
