Lots of small, interesting shops, with more stores open on Sunday than in other Parisian neighborhoods, in case that helps with your schedule. Great gift items and small purveyors of reasonably priced jewelry, often in silver. Also suggest the streets around rue Cherche-Midi on the Left Bank for small boutiques and interesting French handbags and shoes. </p> <p>In Barcelona, lots of shoes throughout the city; you should have good luck with sandals. Like shopping in the Bari Gothic pedestrian zone. Enjoyed shopping for bags at Beatriz Furest, a Spanish designer. She also does shoes and sandals. I don't have a lot of time to browse through store after store.</p> <p>I am looking for good quality, comfortable and chic clothing - both casual and a little dressier for work - I'm thinking unique dresses, linen, comfortable and well-cut pants. </p> <p>I'm also looking for good quality sandals.&nbsp;</p> <p>I'd love advice on stores to check out and also brands to look at.
