Britex has always been the only store I've known... Beyond the sources you see in AD (Architectural Digest)... and they might advertise in there, now that I come to think about it. http://www.britexfabrics.com

I had a look through some of the fabrics on Emma One Sock, and there are some very interesting ones. Things I'd never see here. And they ship internationally!

Also would like to add Marci Tilton (has a web site.) If you are in the Seattle area, there will be a huge sewing expo. on Feb. 26 through March 1 at the State Fairgrounds in Puyallup. There will be tons of fabric vendors.

I buy fabric online a lot, but am sometimes disappointed by color, texture, weight, which are very difficult to assess online. Emma Onesock does the best job of accurate photos and descriptions, in my opinion.

We sewers are also paying the price of cheap, fast fashion coming from 3rd world countries. That awful knit fabric you see in ready-made T shirts is increasingly what is offered to the sewing public. When the fabric is already pilling when it is still on the bolt, that kind of says it all. Sorry for the rant ...

Wish I could help, but I'm in the UK. As a fellow sewer, I'd love to see what you eventually find to work with though

Where can you find good quality, unique fabric for individual sale? My brief experience with B&M and online fabric stores hasn't been great. I'd love to learn how to make some of the Burberry items this season, but haven't a clue as to where comparable fabrics could be purchased.
