This one looks nice, I love plaid. The only problem I see would be with the fabric, I need something that is at least water-repellent. I always use an umbrella, but the backpack gets clammy all the same and I often carry around library books for work that have to stay dry.</p> <p>Thanks Kkards! I've been using it regularly for the last six years, so it did held up well. I definitely want another backpack, not a messenger bag. I have enough bags, but they aren't as practical in some situations. The new backpack needs to be big enough to carry quite a bit of stuff and it would be great if it were waterproof or at least water-repellent. </p> <p>Do you have any ideas where I could find something that's a bit more stylish? Or should I just go for something similar to my old one? </p>
