I loooove waistcoats. I'm 5'1" and had been looking for one for a while. Finally I gave up on finding on that fit me in the torso, and bought a regular-sized (not petite) one from a officewear chain store and had it taken up at the shoulder. It was a costly alteration ($50) but now it fits me PERFECTLY. I am very happy. Could you try that? There's a lot more choice out there in regular sizes. I was able to find the exact cut, colour and fabric I wanted. I thrifted a heavily beaded one and learned the hard way that I sometimes feel like Gretel (or Hansel) as I drop beads as I walk. I am looking for fabric (vs. knit) and live in California so need a U.S. source. There is only a slim chance that I would fit a junior size (but I'm willing to try) because I am a buttoner, am pretty short, and have a full (D/DD) bust. Thx! </p>
