I like to try things on and see how they look on the body. Sometimes a single breast coat on me can look like too much fabric on top. I prefer something that has a nice collar that forms a good "v" shape. If the buttons are the same color as the coat they may not be as distracting, so sometimes I can do a double breasted coat. It really depends on the coat. The key is that the buttons are very close together, so they do not sit awkwardly over my chest. Try looking for trenches with close-set buttons. It doesn't sound like it would make a big difference, but it really does. Does this kind of thing exist right now or has anyone seen something that might do? Would love a light neutral color. I'm 5' 9", a size 8 and would like to get a trench that hits somewhere on my mid-thigh. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.<br /> Thanks </p>
