Have you thought about thrift stores or consignment shops? I got one of my high school dance dresses at a thrift store, and it pretty cheap (considering the price of prom dresses) and I felt unique because I knew no other girls would have the same dress. Once, I even borrowed one of my aunt's formal dresses from high school that my grandmother had saved.

Have you tried Forever 21? Their clothes are less expensive and designed for younger women. The quality is pretty good, although not Nordstrom.

Does anyone have a recommendation on where to shop for stylish homecoming dresses? Looking for stores besides Nordstrom, Macy's and Cache and under $200. Any boutiques on the Eastside or Seattle?
