Good point about getting what you pay for. No surprise I guess :-)&nbsp; I'll check out silicon bands, thanks. The model/size I wanted only came in four colors and this was the only metallic one. It is "starlight", which is pretty neutral, but slightly silvery/pink. It would be a great match with silver, white gold, or rose gold but it doesn't go quite as well with yellow gold. (Almost all my jewelry is yellow gold). Maybe I'll start with a matching silicon band and see how I like that. Who knows maybe I'll expand my horizons into mixing metal colors in my jewelry!&nbsp; &nbsp;I think I have seen black ones where the owner added a metallic band or something to make it less athletic/sporty looking but can't quite remember. Of course I'm noticing all the different styles people wear now that I have one :-)&nbsp; I had a couple of different Fitbits over 8 years and those bands were a much simpler choice.&nbsp;</p> <p><b>cat2,</b> maybe I'll look at the Machete ones, although I'd have to buy them somewhere other than Nordstrom.&nbsp;</p> <p>Thanks <b>Suz.</b> sounds like your experience is much like LJPs. As LJP says -- you (mostly) get what you pay for. Some of the ones I got were dreadful. Some were pretty good.&nbsp;</p> <p>I didn't even know you could get a different surround for the face -- that's intriguing.&nbsp;</p> <p>I have my eye on this expensive but very pretty band. Find below. I always intended to add on a watchband and "bumper" (the thing that surrounds and protects the face)  that would coordinate better with my jewelry and look a bit less sporty. I'd like to find something in dark gold or bronze, jewelry-like but not super expensive. </p> <p>I've looked at Nordstrom  (can't buy but can look),  Macys, Amazon, and Etsy and so far Etsy has the only possibilities in the bronze/dark gold color I want, where I can get a matching band and bumper. </p> <p>Has anyone seen other good sources?</p> <p>Thanks in advance!  </p>
