I know what you mean my top heavy. In the transition after having my son, I used Target and other discount stores like Marshalls and Ross as a cheap and trendy option if you have one nearby.

I've asked questions like this one more times then I can remember, and after a a LOT of research and trial and error, my absolutely favorite fool-proof place to shop is the banana republic outlets. The brick and mortar stores offer amazing discounts, even thou BR's regular prices can be very high. Recenty I was able to buy 4 shirts I really love for around $130, and that was without checking the price tags before purchasing, or doing any special budgeting whatsoever. If you do to choose to shop BR online, go to the sale and clearance sections ( a few of the things listed there are not listed alongside the regular price items) The one really important benefit of shopping BR online, is that you can shop old navy, gap, piperlime and athletica, at the same time. All your purchases from the other stores will go into the same cart, so you only have to pay for shipping once, if at all. And it can all be returned at one time, and in one package. That alone saves me a HUGE amount of money. Be warned though, BR is about a 100 times better than the other 4 stores on the site. I find I only need to return about 1 out of 5 items I buy from BR online, where as the other stores are hit or miss, especially Old navy.

Here are two pictures. I'm still a "work in progress" after the birth of my second son a few months ago. I'd like to lose another 10-15 lbs and I'm still nursing so I feel very top heavy.

I have been following Angie and YLF for a while now. I am a mom of two young boys (3 and 5 months). I love the "flop proof outfit" posts; they are exactly what I need! But, I am having a hard time finding clothing in the area where I live. I live in rural northwestern Wisconsin and the nearest Macy's is an hour away. I try to find things online but I sometimes feel overwhelmed. I was wondering if anyone could suggest some stores (online or elsewhere) that I may have some luck with. Thank you!
