Sweater dresses are too lumpy bumpy for me and I overheat easily. The thought of something knitted on me from neck to almost-knee that I can't peel off in over heated interiors makes me sweat. They're either extremely flattering, or extremely unflattering, but usually the latter. I haven't had one for a looong time, and that's a shame, because they've always been the epitome of fashionably comfy to me, even if they're often only "comfy" looking. I need one that's very forgiving on lumps and bumps, and good for a pear shape. Every dress I wear absolutely has to be fitted at the waist, a-line, and knee-length. I'm strangely picky about that. Any recommendations?<br /> Also, I'm I wrong to think cable-knits might skim over things a little more, or are they just too lumpy for most people? </p>
