These are actually my first pair of new-new jeans in many years. All the others have been secondhand, that's how hard I've struck out trying to find jeans at retail.</p> <p>Gryffin and Firecracker, I'm a big fan old old Lucky denim, too! When they transitioned their manufacturing overseas, the quality disappeared fast. Actually, shopping for old Lucky's on eBay is sort of a hobby for me. They have virtually no resale value at this point, so it's a cheap way to find nice US-made denim. Unfortunately most of the cuts and washes look reaaallly dated now.&nbsp;I have one old pair left that's nearing disintegration (but so, so soft). They're a very 90s looking light wash that I never in a million years imagined would be "cool" -- but I chopped the bootcuts off them, rolled up the hem, and they make a nice pair of summery cropped boyfriends. I do like to duplicate jeans in the same fit with different leg styles. I find I wear them more that way.
