And I wear crops only during warmer months. I don't like the look of crop pants with a winter coat on me. I have skinny legs and ankles and prefer to keep the top and lower part balanced. I have pants in straight cut and full length from BR and Massimo Dutty for winter. Same with jeans. Sometimes "fashion" is really irritating, isn't it? A group of people in the industry decide what they can sell us and then control us by barely offering anything else. I agree, shopping shouldn't be this hard. I was equally miserable during the skinny only years and rejoiced when flares and wide legs came back. Crops took over so quickly after that, but I did find, and still do find, full length. Describe what you are looking for and I'll see if I've found any. I recently bought great pants at Athleta, and they do come in Tall. JFE isn't. And I live in a casual mountain climate, totally inappropriate for bare skin 9 months of the year, and evenings 11.5 months. Nylons don't cut it for warmth. I'm going to be back in long underwear by September. It was really unsuited to my climate and my body type (legs and especiallly calves on the short side). I sat it out, and sat it out, apart from BF jeans in spring and fall, that is. I did like those.&nbsp;</p> <p>Then footwear designers got on board and since then I have been enjoying the trend. I have to be careful with it. I often need to wear a column of colour or I wind up looking very short legged. I need to go for a higher rise sometimes. There are adjustments.&nbsp;</p> <p>And I still can't wear this style in my deep winter because the wind gets up inside. But now that they are making booties that come up higher on the leg (or snug to the calf boots) I can wear a cropped style in cooler temps. And it works really well for spring/ cooler summer or air conditioned days/ fall.&nbsp;</p> <p>I think there <b>are</b> still lots of choices in full length trousers and pants, though. It's not impossible to find them.
