I was happy I decided to wear booties. Even though I run cold I can get away with bare ankles if I make sure I'm warm enough on top. Today I wore a silk/cashmere light weight sweater with a trench coat and I was fine. But I'll wear no-show socks when it's warm enough. That depends on how much leg is showing. I'll wear something like booties with rolled pants that only expose an inch or so of ankle in temps in the 50's but wouldn't wear, say, oxfords and a skirt until it was in the 60's.
