I see so many comments on public articles folks I follow on Facebook that indicate they do not deserve to live, or to receive health care, or a place to sit down, or any food at all, due to their size. I have experienced and heard others experience going into the doctor for something like a respiratory infection after a cold or mental health care and the only thing the physician wants to talk about is your weight. I had a doctor suggest I stop wearing knit clothes or clothes with stretch fabric so I’d be more aware and take care of the problem. I’ve had comments from random passers by. I’ve had some nasty comments made to me recently in my running groups implying that I’m dishonest about my body and my nutrition (for example: when discussing how I actually got BIGGER, not smaller, when I trained for a tough endurance event.) It gets so old. I’m lucky that I don’t experience it daily. </p> <p>Thanks for listening and taking this seriously.
