I mean visible knee socks, like when your skirt hem is above the socks, not when you wear knee socks under jeans. </p> <p>I have been wearing knee socks with combat-type boots for years, pretty much whenever the weather allows me to do so. (I don't wear them with shoes and a skirt, as I think that looks a bit too Catholic schoolgirly). The socks are not much higher than the top of my boots. How much longer can I get away with this? </p>
