I fold my sweaters in half lengthwise (front of sweater to the outside), then take those two arms together and fold them over the body of the sweate. I drape the whole thing over the pants bar of a velvety hanger (sleeves underneath against the bar so they take the occasional wrinkle). FWIW, I actually hang both. I don't like the way tees get crumpled in the drawer, and I hang sweaters on padded hangers. I don't have a dresser but a bed with baskets that stow in the platform, and I worry about knitted items catching on the basketweave. So I took action! I pulled out everything from drawers and hung it up. Now I can see everything but my knits (can't hang those!) and necessaries like undies, PJs and workout gear. Upsides: Now I can see everything I own. Downsides: A bunch of it isn't going to fit anymore. But hey, at least I can SEE it! </p>
