I love love love love <i><b>LOVE</b></i> blazers (or other jacket toppers). They are among my favourite items ever and have always been signature to my style since I was 20.&nbsp;</p> <p>The problem? I really, truly, do not wear them any more, except for denim jackets. I don't know why. I think it is lifestyle related. Especially since my move to the coast, and the pandemic. I just don't wear them, even when I am classroom teaching. Which isn't all the time.&nbsp;</p> <p></p> <p>So. I need to be super careful about any more jacket additions. Denim jackets are ok. My body runs hot (thanks, menopause) and I live in a warm, humid climate. Put the two together, and for 6 months of the year I wear nothing but. Even skirts are out, as the waistband sitting firmly against my skin feels unbearably hot and airless. Plus I’ve come to appreciate their ‘one and done’ aspect, and also the fact that nothing can twist or ride up, as it’s all connected.
