Target does this too. What is the point of showing something that is out of stock? Gap and Old Navy are good about taking something down that is not in stock I think. I think it is even more annoying when you think you've ordered something only to get the 'we're sorry that is out of stock' AFTER you place the order. If you click the "Add to Wishlist" button another bubble will pop up allowing you to enter your name and email and then you can click "notify me on restock". There is almost as many as items on the page that are out of stock as there are in stock though, which is kind of crazy.
