I'm in eastern Ontario and it's way too humid to wear wool in the dead of summer (June, July and August and some or most of September) and then way too cold to wear anything without layers and legs for Dec. Jan and Feb) so I'd only be wearing them for October, November at the most, cause as the previous poster said, in the spring I ditch anything that reads winter! LOL

If I was going to wear them I wouldn't spend a lot of money on them, but I'd wear the heck out of them for the two months that I could, and call it good at the end of the year! LOL

I live in Central Europe (meaning 4 seasons, good and proper) and most girls wear wool shorts only in autumn and winter. Not so much in spring - everybody is so excited about being warm again that they ditch everything that reads "winter" But sure you'd use them in spring too. So, that makes 3 seasons out of 4 - I guess that's a window large enough

I'm in Canada too and I would say I can definitely do Sping and Fall....I'm still unsure about Summer though. Maybe some of it, but there's usually a hot streak around July / August.

Wow...I live in Canada, too, and it is WAY too hot for me to wear wool shorts in summer....

It just goes to show you that even the great north has a varied climate.

And that each of us has different temperature sensitivities!

I don't own them but I would probably be able to wear them all round - mind you I live in Canada and the summer rarely gets very warm anyway so ...

They would probably work nicely in spring and fall as well though without tights!

I'm sure it's a short lived trend but who cares! I am having a little fun with it this winter.

I live in Wisconsin, and it is way too hot here to wear wool shorts in the summer. And really cold here to sport them in the winter. They are really a fall/spring item for this climate.

But then, I really view dresses as fall/ spring as I have yet to find those elusive fleece lined tights!

I totally do, lol. I live in Canada though and its generally fairly cold throughout the year. I think wool shorts can read as 'dressy' rather than 'winter' so it works to wear them in warmer weather.

Well, I don't actually have wool shorts at the moment, although I am looking for some. Personally I wouldn't be able to wear them in the summer because I run hot and it's too humid here, so I would wear them in spring and fall mostly (with warmer tights and tall boots when it's colder and shorter boots/sheerer tights when more temperate.) I do have my slouchy black shorts, which are like a lined poly-blend light trouser material, and I do wear those in fall/spring with tights and boots, as well as in summer with bare legs and sandals.

I would imagine it would depend on your summer. For me, summer would be too warm for most wools, but I don't have air conditioning.

"Spring" and fall would be another matter, though. I can see that, for sure.

I've been seeing a lot of ladies rocking the winter wool shorts with tights on here. I have always loved the look but been afraid to try it. I did find a pair of black wool shorts I love, but I'm now wondering, do you guys also wear your wool shorts in the summer? I don't think I'd do the shorts and tights often enough to justify wool shorts if I only wore them in winter.
