Thank you Gail and Jaime. I've ordered two sizes in R to compare. I was planning on ordering P too, but they're gone.

27R is front rise 9 and rear rise 14.5. I ordered both to try. I kept them both as I liked the petites with flats and the regular with heels . Mine have not shrunk but I wash in cold and do not dry in dryer.

I can't remember the rise but I did have to size up in these. I and usually a 28 but needed these in 29. To be honest I didn't love them. Something was really off for me.

Thanks Gail! Sure, I'd love the 27R measurement. Curious, why did you get both? I am usually a size 6 in general, but have not shopped Gap in a while. Also on the fence about P vs. R. I think the 26 inseam for R would hit around my ankle bone, so I'd need to go to P UNLESS the R shrinks in length.

Just measured mine a 28P . Front rise from the seam to the waistband is 9 inches , back rise from seam to waistband is 14 inches. I also have the 27R let me know if you want me to measure those too.

These are listed as mid-rise. (I wish companies would just give a number.) Does anyone have these and can measure the rise on a size 28, ideally petite? I'd like to try them and there's an online sale today. Also, your thoughts on these if you have them or have tried them on would be appreciated. I never bothered trying on the BR version, as they are listed as low-rise and those days are finished for me Thanks!
