I quickly learned that it was not OK for a woman my age to wear them with jeans. So I reserved them for loungewear. But I haven't even worn those in a year. I might wear them next winter again though.</p> <p>I think hoodies executed from refined fabrics like cashmere sound delicious! I could see one with a modern, oversized cut, looking great. In theory that is cool, but they never work for me. They add a strange bulk to my neck when combined with my hair. I have some Lululemon ones for working out that I will wear occasionally to the gym. The look is skews casual, yes, but the fabric and the zip (vs. pullover) make it seem a little less so. A hood does not necessarily equal loungewear. For me, the slim fit coupled with the v of the zip I find very flattering. I did try it layered under a jacket once for a copycat look a few years back. I also like the waffle weave texture in mine.
