Thanks everyone! I was thinking hourglass with inverted triangle tendencies, so it's nice to finally know!

Also thanks for the input on the sweaters. I'll keep them for lounging for the rest of winter (not much longer in Tucson!) and then pass them on.

Welcome to the forum, Kate! You're lovely.

You're an inverted triangle in the sweaters but an hourglass in lycra. I'm going with hourglass.

You have quite the strong shoulder line so I'm going with inverted triangle. I'm with the others so far: Keep the sweaters for lounging or toss. They look too big.

Hi, My guess is also hourglass, with a leaning to inverted triangle. And I think you should only keep the sweaters to wear at home

You look like a very slender hourglass to me. You're very pretty! The brown sweater is not very flattering since it's so large on you, though I would keep it to wear around the house The green sweater is a bit better, but still not very flattering :-/ I'd let them both go unless you wanted to keep them to lounge around in.

Hi everyone,

I've been reading YLF for a couple weeks now and have finally gotten around to taking some pictures I would like your feedback on.

First, I would like an expert opinion on what my body type is. I have my own guess, but I'll share it later so as not to influence your feedback. The album of those is here:

http://s299.photobucket.com/al.....CN2326.jpg

Also, I have a couple of old sweaters that I've been thinking I should let go, but need another opinion on before taking action. I have a very short neck, and so I've been trying to get crew necks out of my wardrobe. Moreover, the gray one is actually a men's sweater and is rather bulky and loose - which also makes it very comfy! The green one is a bit tighter, and I think it makes my shoulders look huge - but of course I didn't take any pictures at the time with both arms down so you can't really get a good look at my shoulders in it anyway. Anyway, here are the sweater pictures:

http://s299.photobucket.com/al...../sweaters/

Hopefully those links work, and I welcome any tips on taking better pictures of myself - I've already learned to move my bike out of the picture, clean off whatever is behind me, and that my mirror isn't quite as flawless as I thought :P

Thanks!
