Hi Dani! I can't resist red shoes and I'm keeping an eye out for a perfect red bag.

Here's a link to the shoes (no longer on sale : ( )
http://www.shoemall.com/catalo.....8;typeId=0 I constantly get compliments on them.

Last time I measured I was 5'5''. Hee, I just noticed I used only one apostrophe for my measurements. Surely they are not in feet!

Shell, yup, I wore the shorter top to show the jeans. I normally try to wear longer ones. I'm just beginning to explore tunics as well.

Those flats are Clarks Indigo, several years old actually. I wish I had duplicated them, they are surprisingly well made and go with so many outfits. Plus I adore red accessories : )

Thanks, Angie. I'm already considering duplicating them, right after I test them more. (I didn't have a chance to wear them whole day to see if they stretch. It's been too hot until now)

Yay Lena! Congrats on posting. You are a very pretty pear with super long gams.

Those jeans look INCREDIBLE. Wow. Duplicate immediately once you’ve got the size right. Do they stretch out after one day? You might like to go down a size.

lena, i would vote pretty pear. the jeans look great! sounds like youre just wearing that shirt to show your shape, but i think the jeans would look great with tunics or hip-length shirts. theyd minize any size difference between your waist and hips.

having the shirt pinned back like that actually looks really nice - just a couple more inches of length, and it would be great.

i actually have a longer waist, so im not sure how to solve your jacket problem. my only suggestion would be to try going to the petites dept. for jackets.

cute flats, by the way!

Alright, I'm taking the plunge.

I took these pics in my new straight leg jeans and a close fitting sport top (pinned in the back). Please excuse the mess outside the house (right now it's one big dig).

http://i348.photobucket.com/al....._2161a.jpg

Also, here are my measurements:
bust 33' (rib cage 28')
waist 27.5'
hips 37'

I've been using rules for both pears and hourglasses. My main challenge is a short torso and relatively wide hips, which makes fitting tops and jackets pretty difficult (what is cropped on most people is full length for me). I also have a question about my shoulder line and jackets, I'll probably ask about this in a separate thread.

One more question: I'm wearing my first pair of HE jeans: Citizens of Humanity, Ava (straight leg). I *really* like them, but I wonder if size 28 will stretch out too much (I know jeans shout fit more snug at first). Here's a side view pic: http://i348.photobucket.com/al....._2174a.jpg

Thanks, ladies!
