Obviously I am biased, because they are from my closet, but here goes.</p> <p>These all look like they fit in the shoulders and waist, so any other proportions can be tailored if you love the rest of the piece. However, something can fit and still not be "you," so no need to clog your closet with things that aren't calling your name!</p> <p>#1 - The Adeli is supposed to fit that way. I'm 5'7" and could never get my hands into those lower pockets either. You're supposed to use the ones up top with the flap (it has double pockets for some reason). I wore this coat as a light topper, not as a blazer, because NYC has an interim spring/fall season that calls for items like that - so maybe try it like that as well? I second creating a very long, lean line with slim black pants and tall black boots.</p> <p>#2 - Ah, the APC blazer. A basic that I never wore because I just don't work in an environ that calls for jackets like that. The cut may or may not be enjoyable for you, it is a squarish and not tailored look. I did like the soft surface of it, personally. And the fact that it wasn't lined. And having it in my closet just in case we needed to meet with some movie producer (it happened!).</p> <p>#3 - This is a dressy item and - IMO at least - definitely not for every day. The fabric is a wool/metal weave that picks up light. It's not shiny so much as iridescent. Again, I wore with black dresses and pants and cool heels for events. But I also never go anywhere, so it hung in my closet unloved.</p> <p>#4 - You'll see me wear a version of this all summer long - I own it in white, beige, and gray. Really. In fact, maybe I will wear one of them and post today! I wear a white tank under and, typically, jeans. However my days of being a PS in that cut are over. Glad it fit!</p> <p>#5 - I knew you would like this one! There's no label because it's a sample. It's a cotton-cashmere blend. I washed it on cold and threw it in the drier, no problem.</p> <p>Thanks so much for modelling!
