It might be fun to meet with someone who could help you. You buy something you WANT (that you couldn't normally afford). If I had $1,000, it would go towards something that would stay in my closet for a good long time. Bags, shoes, & coats would be my first instinct. As someone who tries to keep my leather purchases to a strict minimum, I would head straight for Stella McCartney. But you also don't have to buy one big thing. A few little things could also do the trick. He wants me to spend it on something fab, and I am having a very hard time doing so. First, I really don't need anything specific in terms of clothes, bags, or shoes. I'm sure there are holes in my closet, but I honestly don't know what they are. Secondly, the prices are a bit daunting, even though he keeps reminding me this is "free." In the end, I don't know where to focus my energies. I ordered one jacket and sent it back, found a pair of boots I loved, but they don't have them in my preferred color, went to the store and felt frustrated. Any suggestions will be appreciated.
