LOL https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/what-would-milo-wearand-other-sartorial-musings#post-900180 Fri, 05 Apr 2013 23:44:08 +0000 Carla 900180@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ Being a bit of a Forum hog, but that's what you get from being racked up in bed with a cold, instead of at the gym with 'Evil Kevin' the personal trainer! &nbsp;<br /><br />Many moons ago, when youngest son was in elementary school, he was assigned his first book report. &nbsp;His favourite book at the time was 'The Phantom Tollbooth' by Norton Juster. &nbsp;The book report format was 3 photocopied pages of questions with ample lines for descriptive answers or quotes for support. &nbsp;Son didn't have too much trouble with the questions, until he came&nbsp;to this: &nbsp;What does the main character look like?<br /><br />Son claimed there was no description in the book, and the pictures's were't helpful to him. &nbsp;So, I suggested he imagine what Milo might look like if he met him in real life,&nbsp;and to support the description with a rationale.<br /><br />Son wrote: 'Milo leads a boring life before he goes through the toolbooth. &nbsp;I imagine he wears beige shirts and beige pants, because beige is boring, and Milo is boring.'<br /><br />I posted the quote on an independent RPG site where I was a DM ( shocking! I know!) and the tech and engineering types (guys)&nbsp;who were in abundance on the site,&nbsp;all had to chime in with what they were wearing. &nbsp;Mostly beige chino's and either blue or white button-down&nbsp;shirts! &nbsp;They thought son's observations were hilarious, but inaccurate. &nbsp;:-)<br /><br />What do you think Milo would wear?<br /><br /><br /><br /><br />
