And you look gorgeous too. :)</p> <p>Have you tried stuffed kongs as a way to entertain Lucy? If you freeze them they last even longer &amp; it's difficult to bark when you're licking treats. My dog also adores nylabones: she'll see I'm reading or knitting &amp; be fussy, until I get her nylabone and then she'll settle down to a good chew session. It's like her hobby. hehe (My vet said to be careful about the hardness level of them though, as the super/extra durable ones can be dangerous for dog's teeth. It was quite an adventure! Very hot today but fortunately our workplace stays cool. Lucy was pretty good, but got impatient and started attention-barking 30 minutes before quitting time because she wanted to play. We'll work on that; I'm trying not to be reactive to barking, but also don't want to disrupt coworkers. </p> <p>Ask mentioned earlier, it's hot-high 80's outside-so I wanted something breezy. Out came the only short-sleeved buy from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, an emerald green and black chevron striped faux-wrap blouse. I paired it with old favorites-a cobalt Vince Camuto knit pencil skirt and magenta patent Me Too flats. New top was perfect for weather, but the snap is a bit high for me-or rather, I need another couple snaps in the middle as I'm paranoid about my blouse falling open while I'm bending over to tend to the dog. Just a word of caution. An easy fix, though. </p> <p>(Disclaimer: I leave home at 5:15 AM, so all pics are taken at end of the day, and therefore are less fresh than I'd prefer.) </p>
