I don't personally wear shirts much, but I'd wear a shirt with an A-line skirt of canvas-weight cotton. I'd also wear a draped tee or fitted tee with a canvas-weight cotton skirt. The blue especially can be worn year round and denim is heavy enough not to be see through. They don't need to be pencil skirts although those are the easiest to find and style. If you wear tees, they can be worn with tanks and tees...anything that you would wear with jeans.<br /> Currently you can wear a wide variety of footwear with dresses and skirts, from flip flops to booties and boots. Thinking back to when I was your age, I wonder if you need to buy better quality shoes for comfort. You might go to Nordstrom's shoe department, if you have one, and have the SA measure your feet for your best size.
