I will bite the bullet and try to wear different colors with the red jeans. I have a button down shirt in cobalt, a citron jersey blouse, and a leopard print shirt (in greys &amp; black) that I think I'll try to pair with the jeans.</p> <p>My main concern with adding blue is that I'll look like Uncle Sam (red, white, and blue). </p> <p>I'm also thinking maybe my light brown sweater poncho (with funky dark brown buttons), a black turtleneck underneath, and cognac motorcyle boots to anchor. Or, is that too much "mutton dressing as lamb"? I love a quirky, boho look, but am worried at age 51 that it might be perceived as trying too hard. If you're really really bold, try light blue or light aqua with it. I love those colors together and they make for a really sharp pairing. Today, I found a pair of red skinny jeans at my favorite thrift store – my size, perfect fit for $4.99 – Score!</p> <p>So, my question is this: I don’t wear a lot of red but I want to participate in the trend of colored jeans. What color(s) do I pair with RED skinny jeans? I’m 51, don’t wear heels, have lots of boots &amp; booties. My favorite colors to wear are neutrals (black, gray, camel) with Lime green (my favorite color). I also love colorful scarves. I have dark blond hair with highlights, in a pixie style. Ideas?
