Hopefully Angie will correct me if I'm wrong). In fact I'm wearing a pair to my NYE party tonight, with a tank and drapey cardigan. To define my waist (even though I'm an apple) I just add a wide belt at my natural waist and boom, I'm an hourglass! And definitely, boots are key. Or, I also have worn with cable knit cut away type cardigan that hits just below the hips &amp; is buttoned just right at or below the chest. Or, I've seen them with a longer plaid shirt &amp; a vest (short or long). I like the scarf trick as it has a tendency to pull the eye there as well. Or any other items other than tunics to pair with them on an average sized hourglass/pear.</p> <p>I don't own any tunics, but have wanted to try the style for a while. I think with my body type I should look for waist defining styles, but I have admired some shift mini dresses. </p>
