The temperature fell over thirty degrees yesterday, and we woke up to snow on the ground. Aargh! I've put together a "Cruel April" capsule. It has some lighter colors but still plenty of warm toppers when needed. Today, for example, I wore my Zara long pink cardigan over a long-sleeved shirt, but I wore a lighter-weight pant and snakeskin print Gap loafers. I had to wear nude trouser socks for warmth, though. If it looked seasonally confused, I don't care. I don't have an extended winter in the sense that you gals do with snow but spring where I live is the <i>worst</i> season of the year, often grizzly and wet and cool (though surprisingly nice so far this year). I usually scout the trends early and then scour the end-of-season winter sales to find a few winter items that fit into the upcoming spring trends I'm interested in. We often don't see Fall until mid November, so I tend to buy one set of Summer clothes in Summer colors and then buy a few Summer-weight things in Fall colors, so I at least get a change with a nod to the season that should be. We've had several days in the 70s and 80s so far, but today is "chilly" again in the 40s, with 60s and 70s starting tomorrow. It's April 15th and the high temp today was 33!! What do you do to keep yourself from going crazy when the weather just refuses to cooperate.&nbsp; sorry for the rant...... </p>
