Yep, we'll be wearing academic robes but there also is dinner with the parents and then a course party after that. I tried on a number of dresses like this today and my main problem with that neckline is that it is accompanied with deep v at the back which causes the shoulders to sit oddly on me. The only dress that I tried on with a high back sat perfectly on my shoulders but was a very unattractive colour on me. Sale season is starting in the next couple of weeks so I would like to have a couple of ideas in my head about what I want to buy. The official dress code is formal- so suits and ties are mandatory for guys and the dress code is very vague for the female students. From what I have seen around campus on graduations days is that the female graduates tend to wear dresses, similar to what they would wear at a day wedding. A couple of women will wear a nice top and trousers or a skirt.
